Oops!

So I weighed in on Saturday...lost 2.8lbs!  I am now down to 160...I am happy.  Just 10lbs more and I am done!!!!

What about you all??????

Ups and Downs

Hi, all!

I forgot to weigh in yesterday -- and today. Part of the problem, I think, is that things have been pretty hectic in the Jones' household with Bob getting surgery on Wednesday and Bobby being here through just about an hour or so ago. I ate late, went to bed even later, and was exhausted throughout the day. I stopped keeping track of what I ate.

However, the good news is... the best thing about WW... is that today is another day. I can start fresh. And I am. I will weigh myself in the morning... and take my lumps knowing that it will be better on Saturday.

Of course, Jack has surgery on Tuesday, so life won't necessarily be back to normal for a few weeks. But I think I am better prepared. And I will insist on eating -- and sleeping -- at my normal times.

So, here we go. Reset. :)

Flemena's weight loss

 I am so elated with the progress we are making with WW. I must say this is not my first time with the WW but I must say it is refreshing to have someone doing it with you as apposed to doing it alone. I think we all need encouragement to get through the battle of the bulge. Anyway enough rambling to my numbers well

let me tell you that was the hardest week for me because it was impossible for me to eat all
of my points. I just wasn't hungry but on to my next weigh in i weighed in at 180.6. I was disappointed, being on WW before my first week i lost 5 pounds. However; Dawn said she was proud of me and sent me an arrangement of fruit and I devoured it.  Anyway, my second weigh in was getting easier but still scurrying around to get rid of my points before midnight. I weighed in at 177.6, so still a little disappointed my encourager D.D. was in my corner. So in total i have lost a total of 6.6. pounds since I started.

Hi, all!

I think this will be fun. We can encourage each other and celebrate together!

My weight loss journey has been up and down and all around for the last 24 years or so, mostly up! After Jack was born, I lost 30 pounds and it all crept back... and then some. Finally, when I saw the pictures of me at Rocky's wedding, I was disgusted!  So, I lost 30 pounds (again!) through "Weight Loss Forever", a program that encouraged good eating habits and a healthy dose of supplements.  And AGAIN, the weight crept back on. I lost 15 pounds when I started working at Kohl's... all that bending and walking, I guess. But when I quit -- you guessed it! Here came those 15 pounds.

Through the help of my sistahs and Dawn, I was able to start using Weight Watchers, in earnest, a year ago in June. What I've discovered is that as long as I write down what I am eating, and plan my food intake, I am really good to go... losing a pound or so a week. When I am not conscientious, all heck breaks loose. I think that is why I am only down 18 pounds in 14 months. I got serious again in July, though, and have lost seven pounds since then.

Up and down, up and down. As much as I love roller-coasters, I hope to step off of this ride for good! I feel so much better now than I did. I can look at recent pictures and not cringe. So... here we go!

Week 3 Totals

Today was my weigh in and it was kind of disappointing.  I got on the scale with my little sweater and I gained .4lbs!!!  So, she told me to take off my sweater--and I lost .2lbs!  What the heck?!!?   So from now I am weighing in with just shorts and a tshirt! 

Okay, so I know last week was a really bad week for me; I felt it.  I am still determined, I am not going to let myself slip into using more points then need be.  How did everyone else do?

Ending Week 3

Hey everyone!

It's me again.  Okay so I started my journey with Weight Watchers about 3 weeks ago.  I had realized I gained 20lbs in one year, and that was after my tummy tuck!  My initial weight was 167.4 and my goal weight is 140.  My weigh-in day is Saturday so I will give an update on where I am at with my weight tomorrow.

Hello everyone!

I am glad you are here, I have brought us all together because we are all working on weight loss utilizing Weight Watchers. I think that this blog can be a great way to motivate each other, talk about our ups and downs of weight loss and just take this journey together. I know that most of you don't know each other, but that shouldn't stop us from encouraging each other. Please bookmark this page to make it easier to find. I suggest the first post we make should be about why we are taking this weight loss journey, and how much we have lost to date since starting Weight Watchers! I am hoping this will be a good positive motivation for us to keep pushing it til we meet our goals!
